In PRODERIV Labs the main asset of our formulation are our 100% natural polypeptides, which provide unique globally most effective high-end skin care products, the tropoelastins, which have electrical charges in their molecular structure, thus they are soluble in water and generate a natural tensor effect on the skin.
This external tensor effect given to the skin, helps to improve and maintain the smoothness, softness and moisture of the skin for long periods of time, helping to the attenuation of marks, spots and irregularities in the treated area of the skin by acting mechanically to enrich and strengthen the Elastin matrix.
The external tension of the skin achieved by our polypeptide or tropoelastins also prevents the accumulation and decreases the production of sebum in the skin, attenuating differences in coloration due to thickness of the dermis. It stops the increase of existing skin damage and delays the appearance of external traces.
Besides, the external tension achieved in the skin, it worksas an effective stop of make up running.
The main benefit of our polypeptides is skin cells regeneration, at the fibroblasts level and because they are 100% natural, they are not harmful for the skin, facts attested and proved by Institute of Chemistry of the UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México).
Mechanism of action of tropoelastins
The elastic properties of elastins are due to polypeptides, which are mostly pentapeptides and rich in electric charges, they constitute a sub-unit of elastin. And are so called tropoelastins, and being the smallest unit of the elastins are also the only elastins soluble in water. Reason why they are the only elastins able to penetrate naturally into our skin, using water as a transport vehicle through both skin layers, the epidermis and dermis.
The tropoelastins being absorbed by the skin, act as intercellular adhesives in the epidermis by joining electric charges to form desmosin or iso-desmosin nodes between four helical structures wherever electrical charges in the extracellular matrix or cell surfaces are free. Meanwhile, another amount of the applied tropoelastins on the skin is transported to the dermis to strengthen and increase volume of available elastins, binding four electrical charges, therefore forming the same desmosins or iso-desmosins nodes and increasing the three-dimensional complexity of the elastins, as well as their own elasticity adn adhesiveness capabilities.
Research and Development
Researching, developing and optimizing our house own polypeptides PRODERIV Labs has signed since 2016 an official collaboration contract with the international and well renowned Institute of Chemistry of the UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México). After almost one year of joint research and investigation, they reported us in 2017 a growth proliferation of skin cells (fibroblasts) up to 40.2% aplying our polypeptides, and also attested their total lack of toxicity for skin cells.
